| I am off to America next week. I am going with my hubby and yougest daughter. We will be staying with a friend of mine that I actually met over the internet about 5 years ago. 18 months ago she came over here and stayed with us for a holiday and now we are off to her part of the world. She has also had her first child since I saw her last so I will be meeting little Olivia for the first time. I am so excited as I have never flown that distance before (Spain is the furthest). My one worry is trying to occupy a hyperactive 4 year old on an 8 hour flight. Oh well!!!! You will all find out how it goes once I get back. | |

| Hi Emma.
I am over there for 3 weeks. Its going to be great. Actually living in her house will be good cos we will see how the real people live and not the touristy ones.

| That sounds great! I wish I knew someone in America lol We're planning on moving over there in a few years (Florida). What air line are you going on? I remember Virgin being the best for kids. Tv's in the back on the seats and huge goody rucksacks with loads of stiff in there. If not, then you could always pack them something for the flight. I'm sure it'll be ok. It'll fly by (no pun intended lol). It's the way back that drags. Knowing you're coming back to rainy England. lol | |

| Yes we are flying with Virgin cos we heard the same thing about them being brilliant with kids.
We also bought her a Gameboy Advance so she will have that to occupy her too.
I am just probably worrying for nothing....she will be fine I'm sure.
