| Apply foundation with a slightly damp sponge. For older skin, creme covers best. For the younger skin try liquid foundations. A good versatile foundation is the wet/dry compact makeup.

| Great tips Hazel. I normally use liquid foundation, but it always feels so oily and heavy. | |

| Todays tip. If your hair is slightly greasy and you dont have time to wash it......sparingly sprinkle some talcum powder on your head and brush it out. It takes away the grease/oil.
Dont use too much or you get to look grey before your time.

| Once I come back off my holiday I will sort out the daily tips and I shall do each day as a seperate thread. Otherwise this one is going to end up about 100 pages long. | |

| I have actually used this tip Emma. It does work well but only if you are easy on the powder. Years ago there was a DRY SHAMPOO that you could buy from most chemist's but then someone tried powder and found it worked just as good and cost a lot less. Not recommmended for long term use though....only as a very quick fix. | |

| I've tried that tip too before. My hair gets greasy very quickly, not sure why. It does work! Just don't do it when you're in a rush or you will get it wrong and you will go grey! lol | |

Great tip, just dont make the sponge too wet as this will result in streaks. and patches.Although some people only need too apply some moisteriser before foundation for it too go on evenly and smoothly Also depends on the skin type..ulta matte for oily skin types. and touch up with powder if you need an extra finish, but being careful not too apply too much. Always run the sponge from the centre of your face outwards. This makes the foundation go into pores and stay without smear marks too. | |

| Ok, my tip. When applying lipstick, put some foundation on your lips too before hand. That way, your lipstick stays on much longer! | |
