| Early this morning, Emily was evicted for saying 'you pushing it out nigger' in a jokey manner to Charley. Charley and Nicky, who were having a conversation with her, agreed it was innocent and weren't offended in the slightest.
I can understand why she was evicted after what happened last year, but do you think this is too PC?
Should she have been evicted?
Like I said, I can understand why BB has to make it look to the public that they won't let what happened in CBB happen again, but IMO, this is completely different.
I don't think the word nigger is offensive, unless used in a nasty way. Same with any word really. I wouldn't be offended if someone jokingly called me white trash, or a honky, and since neither Nicky or Charley, the only black people in the house, were not offended, I don't see why she should have been evicted.
I think it's just BB trying to keep a certain image, I don't really think they care about anything else.
What do you think? | |

| lol I've never liked Emily either.
But because of the remark, shouldn't Charley also have been evicted as she said it as well?

| Yes - she should have been booted out too. It annoys me when black people feel they have the right to say it cos they're black. If its racist then noone should be saying it. | |

| I agree!
Personally, I think bb only kicked her out because of what happened in CBB, and they had to make a point of being against racism.
I don't think they give a damn about the public. The word she used is widely used as an affectionate term, not only amoungst the black community, so I don't think she should have been booted out, especially since she said it in a jokey way, but since she was kicked out, I think Charley should also have been kicked out for saying it.
If it's a racist and unacceptable word, then it's the same whether it comes from a white or black person.

| I agree with that. A word is a word is a word. If it's unacceptable to say, then it's unacceptable for everyone.
I don't think she should have been booted, but what else could bb have done realistically?
