Power cuts!

For once, it's dry, but soooo windy it's causing powercuts!

Good job I'm on my laptop. The power has gone off about 5 times in the last 10 minutes. Keeps going off, then coming back on a few seconds later. Really annoying!

Like I said, good job I'm on the laptop (battery) or I'd have had to reboot 5 times now.

Oh No!....Is like winter here today - actually really cold, pouring down and really windy

OMG! I just looked out of the window and our Gazebo (that was pinned down AND tied to the fences, has blown over to next door!!! And it's thundering now, although no rain still.

Can't believe how bad it is!

.....Thing is that once you've had a couple of drinks you won't feel the cold too much!

I lived for w while in a nice flat off Belvoir Street so always used to be out in Leicester but we're going back 10/11 yrs now!!!!!

What was that club that was painted purple on the outside - know there was a Sainsburys nearby when I was there.....It's had LOADS of name changes and can't for the life of me remember what it was when I was there but know that it's even where my Mum and Dad used to go!!!

Used to be an all nighter club called Strretlife I think - back in my "Mixmag" days of travelling the country clubbing! - And a cafe/bar thing called BOSSA where my friend I I used to go for lunch quite often when I worked at the mercury! - Lovely toasties and cocktails!!!!! Bet none of these places exist anymore do they?!?!?!

What's the big club called near the bus station too? - Scary!!!!!

Big club near the bus station is Zanzibar.

The purple was was Crystals, then Kudos, then Creation, Now it's Liquid/Envy. Got two section, Liquid for 18+, Envy for 21+

Streetlife is still there! lol Never been myself but know others that do.

Parody is near McDonalds. Can't remember the road name. lol

I know where Parody will be then! - Used to go to some bars up there occasionaly!

I was in Leicester in the days of Krystals!!!!!!! LOL!

Can't believe Streetlife is still there! - Had some fab nights there and some very ROPEY Saturdays to follow them!!!!!

That club wasn't Zanzibar when I was there - can't remember what it was called but once saw the most horrendous fight outside there.....really horrible....

I've only ever known it as Zanzibar, and I was too young to go out when it was Krystals lol.

There are loads of bars and pubs up the street where Parody is. Again, can't remember the name of them though! lol

Oh! One of them was Voodoo!
